Festival In The Community
Festival has a strong belief in giving back to the community.
We use our medium to raise awareness and funds for a number of charitable organizations across the country and the world.
It is what it sounds like! This project will see Festival design and market the city’s first official Monpoly game with 100% of proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa and DIFD and the Royal Ottawa’s Youth Mental Health initiative. For more information on #MonopolyOttawa contact your Festival representative.
In 2011, Festival had the idea of a scarf with a big moustache on it with the intent to help raise social media awareness of Movember and funds through the sale of the scarf. After getting approval from Movember Canada to use the moustache icon, the scarf was featured on SportsCentre by @Jayonrait and @TSNotoole. The next year, the #MoScarf was the official scarf of Movember Canada and was worn by the Prime Minister, NHL Players, CFL Players and shipped to all corners of the country. From 2011 to 2016 the #MoScarf raised over $50,000 for men’s health.
